Kathua, Dec 16: Nehru Yuva Kendra, Kathua is organizing in-house Induction Training Programme for 15 days duration for "National Youth Volunteers"under the scheme of Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India in collaboration with Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kathua and 55 Volunteers hailing from district Poonch and 16 Blocks of Kathua are participating. Dr. Amrish Vaid, Sr. Scientist and Head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kathua formally inaugurated the training programme and he urged the volunteers that Prime Minister of India has launched various schemes for skill development, social security's, make in India, and various others for all section of society. It is the duties of volunteers to take these welfare schemes to the doorstep of the public to involve and associate them with these schemes and get benefitted. During the training NYV shall be imparted various skills to perform their duties as catalysts agent of society for the Youth Welfare and Social Development. The Training focus shall be on development of communication, managerial, Social leadership, life Skills and Personality Development, Self-Identity and Understanding, Administration and Governance, Emerging India -challenges and opportunities, Working with community and community mobilization, Policies and programmes of Youth Development, IT and Social Media, Action Plan of village youth clubs etc. through various Methodology. |
