Jammu, Dec 16: The flouting and mending of norms by Jammu University (JU) authorities to facilitate smooth appointment of their blue-eyed persons on various posts have become an order of the day under the stewardship of the Vice Chancellor, Prof Ramji Dass Sharma, this was alleged by National Secular Forum (NSF) state president Dr Vikas Sharma here today. Addressing a press conference, Dr Vikas Sharma questioned the Screening Criteria adopted by the Director of The Business School (TBS), Prof B C Sharma for the posts of Assistant Professor and maintained that he did so to extend undue advantage to blue-eyed persons. "The Screening Criteria is unjust and not disclosed at the time of advertising the post. It has been adopted by the Director TBS arbitrarily which led to ouster of several deserving candidates in short listing itself. And, the whole process is being completed in haste as Prof B C Sharma retires on Dec 31, 2016," he said. |
