| 100 years of Ved Mandir celebration on Dec 20 | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 18: Ved Mandir Committee is celebrating its 100 year of completion of start of its social activates on the land of Ved Mandir on Dec 20. About 100 years back Shri Swami Champa Nath ji Maharaj was leading spiritual life on the land of Ved Mandir.
In order to celebrate its 100 year an Inaugural programme has been arranged on Tuesday 20th December, 2016 at Ved Mandir Multipurpose Hall Ambphalla Jammu at 3 PM. Honorable Speaker Kavinder Gupta deliver the main lecture. The function shall be presided over by Dr. Nirmal Kamal the Chairman Jammu Kashmir Social Welfare Board. Jammu. In addition to inaugural function the committee has arranged "Shree Ram Katha in Ved Mandir Premises. The Katha shall be delivered by Saint Shree Dinesh Bharti from 23th December to 25th December 2016 .The timing of the Katha shall be from 1.30 to 4.30 PM. The program me has been arranged to celebrate 100 years and promote its aim i) Nar Seva Narayan Seva to look after orphan children male and female and to promote Veda knowledge. Such activities are being undertaken for the last 100 years.
Presently Ved Mandir committee is looking after three projects names Ved Mandir Bal Niketan having 49 children male Ved Mandir Balika Niketan having 57 girl child and 20 students learning Vedas . As such Ved Mandir Committee is looking after 126 children. All the children stay in Ved Mandir hostels and committee fulfilled their entire requirement from food to teaching. They are also in parted computer education. |
