Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 17: The aspirants for Lecturers 10+2 in subject History have criticized Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission, for what they termed as flawed question paper of subject, entrance exam of which was conducted today. Aspirants informed Early Times that as per the syllabus for Lecturer 10+2 in history, uploaded by JKPSC was divided in four equal segments including Medieval India, Medieval India, Modern India, World History, and History of Jammu and Kashmir. As per the syllabus criteria, the total marks of the entrance test were 120 with one mark to each question, divided in four segments with each segment having 30 marks each. "But to utter surprise of all of us aspirants, there was not a single question from the History portion of Jammu and Kashmir", an aspirant said. He further informed that as per the entrance test conducted by JKPSC today across Jammu and Kashmir, a total of 4300 students appeared but were infuriated over the setting of question paper. "Instead of 30 questions from Medieval section, the question paper had 60 questions, while from Modern History, there were 40 questions and from World History section there were only 20 questions", the aspirant rued. "In the last few years whenever the entrance exams were conducted by JKPSC, equal questions from all sections were asked but for the first time, questions from a particular section were not asked", aspirants said. |
