KATHUA, Dec 18: Brilliant century from Gourav Tomar today guided Nikhil-Kohli (NK) XI to easy win against Balaji Cricket Club Kurukshetra in the ongoing 7th Police Martyrs Memorial North Zone Inter Club Twenty20 Cricket Championship at Sports Stadium, here. Earlier, batting first, Balaji Cricket Club set a target of 141 runs for the loss of eight wickets. Bunty scord highest 49 runs. From NK XI, Gourav Singh emerged as most successful bowler with four wickets. In reply, NK XI Kathua attained the goal, rather easily, courtesy superb 102 runs innings from Gourav Tomar. For his all-round performance, Gourav was obvious choice for the man of the match trophy and Rs 2100 cash prize. Meanwhile in another scheduled match, Road Safety Kathua made it an easy win against Vidhya Jain Academy Delhi. Batting first, Vidhya Jain Academy scored 144 runs for the loss of eight wickets. |
