Rajouri, Feb 28: Continuing its anti-encroachment drive, the district administration Rajouri retrieved 967 kanal government l/Kacharai land from the grasp of encroachers in Tehsil Rajouri, Thanamandi, Manjakote, Khawas and Teryath.
The anti encorachment drive was conducted under the overall Supervision of the Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Mohammad Nazir Sheikh. During the course of action, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Mohammad Nazir Sheikh said, 967 kanals of state/Kacharai land have been retrieved in these five Tehsil.
The encroaches have been warned not to encroach upon the state land henceforth strict action shall be initiate against the defaulters. The lamberdars and chowkidars of the area have been directed to report immediately if any land is re-encroached, Deputy Commissioner said.
Pertinently the Deputy Commissioner Rajouri has set fortnightly targets for removing the encroachment and expunging the illegal entries in the revenue record. |
