OBC PCC demands waive off electricity, water bills

Jammu, Mar 25: Senior leader & Chairman OBC Department Pradesh Congress Committee J&K Adv. Suresh Kumar Dogra urged the Lieutenant Governor of the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory to waive off the Electricity Bill& Water Bill for the month of March and April and Release the Salaries of Daily wagers of the Different Departments in view of the prevailing situation which has been become horrible due to the panic of the deadly ( fatal) disease COVID-19 .
In a statement issued here by the Chairman OBC Deptt. JKPCC, Adv. Suresh Kumar Dogra, urged the LG of Jammu and Kashmir UT to come up with a concrete relief measures for the large section of the Society, whose livelihood got effected by instructions imposed by the Authorities in view of the Coronovirus outbreak in the J&K. Adv. Dogra said Due to complete Lock down throughout India especially Jammu and Kashmir the Daily wagers in the Different Departments and Mediocre are finding its difficult to provide two time meals per day and by seeing the gravity of the situation, why the Government has become Spectator to the sufferings of the Common masses, Adv. Dogra again submitted to the LG to mitigate with the problems of the poor section and an order must be released to waive off the Electricity and Water Bills and release the Salaries of the poor daily wagers for the welfare of the said section of the Society of J&K.
