Political watchers believe that Omar, who was a vehement political opponent of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, and highly critical of his latest decision to enter into alliance with BJP to form Government in J&K, could have risen above political rivalry and paid tributes to the departed soul, who quietly gave many a political lessons to the politicians of Omar's generation.
