Kathua, Jan 23: District Congress Committee Kathua paid floral tributes to Netaji on his 118th Birth anniversary, here today. The function was presided over by Former Member Legislative Council and President District Congress Committee Subash Chander Gupta. After Paying glowing tribute Subash Chander Gupta spoke about Netaji from his childhood days to the most resilient force against Britishers. Gupta also elaborated about Indian National Army's great valor and sacrifice and how it helped to regain freedom from Britishers. Throwing light on the childhood days of Netaji, Gupta said that once Bose was asked about his ambition in life and he replied in strong voice that he would like to become a Sainik. And he indeed made this dream into reality. He sacrificed everything for the liberation of motherland. Gupta spoke highly of Subash Chander Bose's courage and monumental efforts in the Nation's freedom struggle, and said that every Indian duly remembers his contribution. He also urged every Indian to get inspired by Netaji and pledge their lives in the service of Nation thereby taking the Nation to new heights.
