Ten days literacy programme concludes 1/23/2015 9:06:59 PM Early Times Report Reasi, Jan 23: Ten days literacy programme was organized under the NSS unit of RM College of Education in Chowadhi village of Sainik colony, Jammu on Friday. The villagers were collected in groups where the staff members of RM College talk to them personally on different subjects like Swach Bharat Abhiyan, Jan Dhan Yojna and how to use ATM and what precautions we must keep. On concluding day the Sarpanch of village as well as senior person also participated. They applauded the efforts of the institution. They were highly thankful to the Management of RM College who took such an initiative. The Principal of the college PK Dhar and Trustee Rita Mengi also addressed the gathering. It was also decided to have a Literacy Mission and to take adult classes in future. The weaker section of the society should be provided also possible help. At the end, arrangement of refreshment was made by the college. Some gifts were distributed among the villagers.
