doda, Jan 23: Five members deputation of Doda Civil Society today met Chief Engineer PDD Shahnaz Goni here at Doda.
The deputation was led by Social Worker Mehboob Hassan Kraipak apprised Chief Engineer about the various problem caused with unscheduled power cuts in the town which are causing great problem among the people.
The deputation also discussed the issue of installation of street lights to old city Mohallas like Nehru Chowk, Irfan Abad, Shinal Mohallah, Sah. After hearing the deputation patiently, Goni assured them that she would highlight this issue with PDD official to stream line the proper mechanism of power distribution in the town besides installation of street lights. Among others who were present on the occasion Dr Javed Iqbal Tramboo, Mohammad Iqbal Balwan, Dr Akhter Sohail and Faizan Tramboo. |
