Jammu, Jan 23: A two days workshop on "System Design with ARM Controllers" and "Design of Wireless High Voltage Ignition System" was inaugurated at MBSCET, Jammu. According to press release, the workshop was organized by Department of Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering in collaboration with Central Association of Robotics Technology (CART) Bharat and Inert IT Pvt. Ltd. Prof. Rajni Dhingra, Chief Guest, Dean Faculty of Sciences, University of Jammu emphasized the need of such technical workshops for providing exposure to emerging trends. The inaugural function was presided over by S. Rangil Singh, Chairman MBSCET, while addressing the students appreciated the efforts made by the faculty of AE&IE Department. Prof. Pawnesh Abrol, Coordinator, CART Bharat, discussed the various banners of association. Dr. Parveen Lehana from Prof. Physics & Electronics Department University of Jammu emphasized on the importance of technology and the right channel to implement the technical ideas and Er. Sonakshi Sharma Convener Technical Activities CART Bharat, spoke about the future plans to be implemented by CART Bharat as well as discussed the formation plan of student chapter for technical activities in MBSCET. Dr. Lehana, Er. Sonakshi will be the resource persons in the workshop. The workshop is coordinated by Prof. Surinder Kour Bali and Prof. Ravinder Kumar Bhardwaj. 80 students are participating in the workshop. Dr. S.K. Badyal Principal MBSCET, threw light on significance of the role of AE&IE branch in engineering field. Prof. Amrik Singh, Prof. Parveen Singh, Prof. A.S. Sudan, Heads of various Engineering Department and faculty of the institute graced the inaugural session of workshop by their presence. |
