Katra, Jan 23: A Special session was conducted for the students of MBA and five years Integrated Dual Degree M.Sc (Economics) of School of Business of SMVDU by Head Household Survey, Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy Pvt. Ltd.(CMIE) Jaipur Pranab Bhatnagar, and Shabir Hussain Shah, Field Information Officer, CMIE, Mohali.
According to press release, during that orientation-cum training session, students of M.Sc (Economics) and MBA raised number of queries to access the available digital database infrastructure in the School of Business, Faculty of Management.
During the occasion faculty members of SOB included Director, SOB also familiarized the students about the use of available data resources and their applications, while preparing their dissertation work, other analytical reports in the area of Indian economy, Marketing Research, Business Analytics and others.
Bhatnagar enlightened the students about the usage of two products of CMIE which are purchased by SMVDU including Prowess and Economic Outlook which can ensure the availability of data infrastructure more comfortably on real time basis. |
