Jammu, Jan 23 : All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC) today held meeting in which they criticized mischievous, disdainful and preposterous statement of Digvijay Singh. According to press release, during the meeting conference president RK Raina said that it was most unfortunate that Digvijay Singh does not understand even after 26 years of militancy that why KPs were forced to leave their homes and hearths. Raina further reiterated that instead of blaming the then Governor Jagmohan for the exodus of KPs he should have mustered the courage to speak against the terrorists and their masters across the border, who were responsible for genocide, ethnic cleansing, rapes, arson and looting of hapless KPs under a proper planning and strategy of notorious of ISI of Pakistan.
"KP's were constantly being threatened from loud speakers fixed on roof tops, by the terrorists to leave the valley or to face the horrible consequences", Rain said and added that Singh has displayed his anti- national attitude and has directly supported the secessionist forces which is unbecoming of a MP.
Meanwhile SC Chatta said, " Jagmohan is a real nationalist. He would never support a specific community for any exodus and leaving behind their all ancestral history and legacy",. Raj Nath, AK Dhar, SL Mujoo, Surinder Jalali, Venna Gurutoo, Sarla, Ravi Raina and Ruby Mattoo were also present on the occasion. |
