SRMWC meets JKDT, discusses programmes of Maha Shivratri

Jammu, Jan 23: A 4 member delegation of Shri Ranbireshwar Mandir Welfare committee under the leadership of President of the committee Onkar Sharma ( Nandi Ji) met President Jammu and Kashmir Dharamarth Trust (JKDT) RS Jamwal and discusses the programmes to be organized by Shri Ranbireshwar Mandir Welfare committee at temple premises on the ocassion of MahaShivratri which is falling on February 17.
According to press release, in the meeting Secretary JKDT Shashi Khajuria, Administrator JKDT Manmohan Singh was also present.
It was decided that all the programmes in the temple premises of MahaShivratri under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir Dharamth Trust will commence on February 16. "On February 16 a grand Shobha Yatra of Lord Shiva will be organized by JKDT along with other cultural, social organizations and Shri Ranbireshwar Mandir Welfare committee will also participate in it.
A Chariot of Lord Shiva of JKDT will be the main attraction of the Shobha Yatra. Pandits of JKDT will push that Chariot amid chanting of religious Vedic mantras.
It was unanimously decided that Chariot of Lord Shiva of JKDT will lead this Shobha Yatra which will follow by the tablaus of other organizations. This Shobha Yatra will pass through all main bazars of the old city viz including City Chowk, Indira Chowk, Hari Market, Raghunath Bazar, Residency road, Rajinder Bazar, Old Hospital road, Purani Mandi, Link road, Jain Bazar, Chowk Chabutra, Pacca Danga and will finally culminate at Shri Ranbireshwar Temple. In the meeting it was also decided to organize some religiuos cultural programmes in the temple premises by SRMWC. JKDT officials give full assurance to the committee that their organization will fully cooperate with the SRMWC in organizing all these programmes. After that an emergency meeting of SRMWC was also organized in the temple in which all members took part. In the meeting President Onkar Sharma ( Nandi ji ) give all the detail to the members about the programmes to be organized by SRMWC on the occasion and appeal them to gear up from January 28 to make these events a great success. All the members give their consent to the President that they will cooperate with the committee in making these events successful.
Among others members of the committee who were presented on the meeting included Raj Kumar, Amit Gupta, Mandeep Sharma, Deepak Sharma, Advocate Jyoti Sarup Mishra, Dr. Sunny Gupta, Rekha Sharma and others.
