JAmmu, Mar 13: Kanachak Camp Volleyball Club defeated Kanachak Volleyball Club in the finals of the volleyball tournament being organised by Sub Division Domana under Civic Acton Plan (CAP). The finals were played at HSS ground Domana in which Kanachak Camp defeated Kanachak by 2-1 in best of three games contest.
Uttam Chand IPS SSP Jammu was the Chief guest of the occasion and Sh Rajeev Pandey IPS SP Rural Jammu was guest of honour. The chief guest interacted with the players of both the teams and wished them best of luck for the game.
After completion of the game he addressed the players and other spectators present and spoke on the issues of healthy Police Public relations, menace of drugs and benefits of sports in making life disciplined. The address was followed by prize distribution ceremony in which monentoes were given to the captains of winner and runner up teams, player of the tournament, best lifter and individual medals to all the players. Momentoes, as a token of love were also given to the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour, SDPO Akhnoor, Principal HSS Domana, Chief Refree and Scorer. Also a Sports kit and volleyball was presented to the Principal HSS Domana for the use of school team by the SSP as gesture for promotion of sports.
Prominent personalities present on the occasion were SDPO Domana Sanjay Parihar KPS(organiser of the tournament), Naresh Singh KPS SDPO Akhnoor, Ajit Sharma Principal HSS Domana, Jai Paul Sharma SHO Domana, Sarpanches, Corporators, Panches, senior citizens, youth, students and staff of HSS Domana. |
