PDP-BJP Govt to undergo minor cabinet reshuffle soon | | | Asif Iqbal Naik
Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 13: The 13 day old Peoples Democratic Party and Bhartiya Janta Party Government in Jammu and Kashmir is likely to undertake a minor cabinet reshuffle very soon. The sources informed the "Early Times", that the government has informed the Governor that it would go for cabinet expansion on March 16 as more Minister would be sworn in. Sources said that the decision of expansion of J& K cabinet has been taken at highest level by the BJP and PDP leaders. The sources said that if all goes well the cabinet expansion would take place before the assembly session commences. Meanwhile the sources informed the "Early Times" that BJP has formally demanded MoS Home and MoS Law and Parliamentary Affairs from the PDP. The sources said that the party through Deputy Chief Minister has sent a detailed message to Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Syed in which the BJP has staked the claim for MoS Home, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, besides the party has also raised the issue of inclusion of more cabinet ministers in the council of ministers. "It is not a question of Jammu or Srinagar--- whole state and its people are our own people and we are ready to shoulder the burden of any security challenge for sustaining long lasting peace and maintaining communal harmony in the state" said BJP leader wishing anonymity. |
