Committee to recommend appointment of Wardens, Assistt Wardens | Mufti bats for transparency in SABs | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 13: Jammu and Kashmir government today ordered constitution of a committee to recommend the appointment of Wardens/Assistant wardens in various State Advisory Boards (SABs). In supersession of Government Order No. 1501-GAD of 2006, dated 11.12.2006, Government Order No. 657-GAD of 2013, dated 22.04.2013, and Government Order No. 1185-GAD of 2013, dated 21.08.2013, government ordered the constitution of a Committee to recommend appointment of Wardens/Assistant Wardens in Gujjars & Bakerwals Hostels, Hostels under the Advisory Board for Pahari Speaking People and Hostels under the Advisory Board for the Welfare and Development of Other Backward Classes. As per Government order number 356 GAD of 2015 dated 13/03/2015, Administrative Secretary, GAD will be the Convener. Others member of the committee included Administrative Secretary, Social Welfare Department, Administrative Secretary, School Education Department and the Secretary of the concerned Board. It is further ordered that the General Administration Department shall obtain a panel of eligible Lecturers/Head Masters/Masters with outstanding service career from School Education Department for their posting as mentioned above. Further it is ordered that the orders of deputation of Wardens/Assistant Wardens shall be issued by the General Administration Department after seeking approval of Chief Minister who is also Chairman of the Advisory Boards. The tenure of deputation of Wardens/Assistant Wardens shall be two years and in no case, it shall be allowed beyond three years. |
