HC stays investigation by CB against Taxation Counsel couple 3/14/2015 12:03:23 AM Jammu, Mar 13: In a petition filed by Seema Verma and others seeking quashment FIR No 13/2015 registered against Income Tax Lawyer Rajesh Verma and his wife Seema Verma, Justice Janak Raj Kotwal of J&K High Court Jammu Wing issued notice to State of J&K and Ors returnable within four weeks and also ordered investigation registered by Crime Branch Jammu shall stayed. After hearing Advocate Abhinav Sharma with Advs Himanshu Beotra and Sahib Aggarwal appearing for the applicant, Justice Janak Raj Kotwal ordered that subject to objections from respondents, investigation in FIR NO 13/2015 registered by Crime Branch Jammu shall stayed. According to the crime branch FIR that a case has been registered against an Income Tax Lawyer Rajesh Verma S/o Late Dharam Veer Verma and his wife Seema Verma R/o 163/3 Trikuta Nagar Jammu for preparing fake/forged documents and causing huge loss to his client - the complaint Pardeep Kumar Puri s/o Late Shyam Puri R/o 171-A/D Gandhi Nagar, Jammu alleging therein that Rajesh Verma substituted the original rent deed with a fake and fraudulent one prepared in the name of his wife and received the rent from the tenants thereby causing huge monetary loss.( JNF)   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
