Rajouri, Mar 13 : Acting tough against the anti social elements especially those indulged in crime against women including abduction of minor girls, police have recovered another abducted girl- the third in last four days.
Police sources said, "One minor (name withheld) from village Saj was kidnapped on Thursday by the accused identified as Javed Iqbal s/o Sher Baz r/o Nerojal a laborer by profession while the girl de-boarded from a bus coming from a bus at Saj on Rajuri-Thanamandi road.
"Father of the girl lodged a complaint with SHO Police Station Thanamandi therein alleging that his daughter has been abducted by above said accused along with accomplice, police said, adding, "accordingly a case FIR 36/2015 u/s 366, 109 and 341 RPC was registered against the accused person at concerned police station and investigation was started. "The investigation under supervision of SSP Rajouri Haseeb Mughal a police team led by Nazir Ahmed, SHO swung into action recovered the girl from the possession of the accused today," police said.
"After legal formalities and medical examination the girl was handed over to the parents," police sources said. |
