Bandrai in dark for last one month, JE PDD inaccessible 3/14/2015 12:05:15 AM Early Times Report SUNDERBANI, Mar 13: People of village Bandrai of Tehsil Sunderbani have been forced to live in dark for the last one month due to callous behaviour of PDD authorities. Some poles got damaged due to incessant rainfall recently and even after repeated complaints in the concerned quarters no action was taken to give respite to the suffering inhabitants. People of the area, while talking to Early Times told that they tried to bring the matter to the notice of JE Vijay Kumar but whenever visited PDD office but every time the concerned JE is found out of station. Either, he keeps his mobile switched off or does not receives the calls. The people alleged that there are unscheduled power cuts which are causing lot of problems particularly to students who are appearing for their respective annual examinations. Even the Early Times reporter visited PDD office several times but the concerned JE Vijay Kumar was never available to give his version on the matter. People of Sunderbani town even complained that sometimes the poles in main markets are not repaired in time which attracts incidents.
