More terrorist attacks offing to destabilize Govt' | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 7: The intelligence sleuths have warned of more terrorist attacks in the state. According to sources, the ISI has issued directions to carry more attacks to destablise the first ever BJP government in the Jammu and Kashmir. "The terrorists who were on the receiving end for quite some time are on the offensive to show their presence. But more importantly, they have been tasked to destablise the BJP government in the State by generating enough public opinion against the government with these attacks," said a senior police official, wishing not to be named. "When Omar Abdullah was the chief minister the first major terrorist attack was in 2013, four years after he assumed the office, but three major attacks have taken place within a month of the government formation is self-reflective about the BJP government in the J&K in the terrorists, especially the separatists," said senior official. Sources said, “The terrorists and their handlers feel once BJP- PDP government settles down, the Centre will take steps-both pro-active and subtle- to change perception about Pakistan and the assumed perception of the 'disputed'. "Once this perception is corrected than support to the terrorists and also to the separatists will go away. Mufti will not be able to say much against the terrorists but the public pressure will force BJP to get out of the alliance,” said the official. Sources said the central intelligence agencies are in knowledge of it and also have briefed the centre government . "Modi especially the security advisor Ajit Doval knows the game plan of Pakistan and BJP had worked hard to get into governance and this will not itself pressurized by such acts and will go along with its agenda," said the official. |
