Kathua, Apr 7 : Mount Litera Zee School & IPS (KIDZEE), Kathua organized the World Health Day at their school premises.
The Chairperson Anu Dogra, Principal, staff and students of IPS Kidzee welcomed the esteemed team of doctors. The doctors on panel were Dr. Verma, Dr. Amit Munde,Dr. Vimal, Dr. Reva etc.
The programme was commenced with the check up of all children by the doctors to promote a healthier environment in school. The main objective of school is to reduce the social and economic burden of communicable diseases and to attain the best health and development for their little shining stars.
This year again in 2015, the World Health Day is organized with the theme" Food Safety Campaign". The theme this year focuses on how good and healthy food is and its journey from farm to plate. The focus is on how good health throughout life as it can help all kidzee shining stars to lead full and productive lives and be an asset for their families and communities.
The themes adopted by the school were mental health ,Oral health care ,shape the future of life, road safety and protecting health from climate change. A Proper health record of each student was made by the doctors. In addition, they discussed some essential points with teachers regarding nutrition, food safety, good health and sustainable development of each child. |
