Jammu, Apr 7 : Soujanya Sharma, Commissioner Municipal Corporation along with R.N. Meena, Sr. DTM/JAT and Ashwani Kumar, Station Manager visited Railway Station Jammu area. During the drive on spot assessment of the sanitary conditions and performance of other Municipal services was made and necessary instructions were issued for improvement of civic amenities. During the visit Commissioner JMC was apprised by the Railway authorities that on an average 60-70 thousand passengers reached the Railway station every day but the unhygienic condition of the Railway Station has remained concerned of the authorities as well as visitors. To make the surroundings of the Railway Station Jammu neat and clean as joint venture, JMC and Railway authorities has decided to remove the mulba /garbage filth from the premises within next couple of days, Commissioner, JMC gave direction to the sanitation wing to deploy men and machinery for the purpose. |
