Hidden parleys between fifth column of KPs, Centre, State to wreck claim of Homeland: Bhat | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 13: Expressing concerns over rehabilitation of exiled community, Panun Kashmir headed by Vijay Bhat has termed the ongoing hidden parleys going on between the fifth column of the Kashmiri Pandits and the middlemen of the Centre and state government as the nefarious design to wreck the claim of the community on their ancestral Homeland in Kashmir. In a press statement issued today, Vijay Bhat, President, Panun Kashmir addressing the core group of the Polit Bureau and the activists. Expressing serious concern over the meeting held by the fifth column of the community and the middlemen of the Government about which Surinder Ambardar, MLC of the government has claimed that discussing the minute details, it was strongly believed that a comprehensive roadmap needs to be devised taking into the consideration all aspects of the return and a series of dialogues be initiated within the community to get a holistic feedback of KPs return. Vijay Bhat said, "KP community has given its blue print and model for the comprehensive return well back in 1991 when it adopted the historic Margdarshan resolution that envisages a separate Homeland for the religiously cleansed Kashmiri Pandits in North and East of river Jhelum(Vitasta) in Kashmir. "After the bursting of the empty balloons of so called composite townships or townships in Kashmir ,middlemen and enemies of the nation are ganging up to trample upon the political rights of KPs by sidelining the communal and jihadi socio-political milieu of majority community of Kashmir which is reaching its zenith with every passing day with the hoisting of Pakistani flags and ISIS flags, he added. He said that townships or any other formulations that sans the constitutional guarantees as underlined in the Margdarshan resolution asking for the creation of separate Homeland are doomed to fail even before their conception. "The machinations of these enemies of the KP community failed when they could not stifle the homeland demand that reverberated at Jantar Mantar ,New Delhi on May 3 this year as Panun Kashmir with the full support of the community foiled the treachery of the collaborators and fifth column and the state and centre Governments developed cold feet to thrust the pseudo leadership or committee on the community, he said. Warning the organizations and the fifth column to desist from being trapped in the pseudo rehabilitation plan for exiled community, Vijay Bhat said, "Panun Kashmir establishment and its worldwide international network is keeping a constant vigil on all the developments and appeals to the KP community not to get perturbed by the treachery of the show boys and quislings in the community who are acting as the collaborators of the enemies. He also appealed to organizations like AIKS(All India Kashmiri Samaj), JKVM(Jammu Kashmir Vichar Manch), RIK (Roots in Kashmir) to feel the gravity of situation before they initiate. "These organizations have a social role and should work for the social emancipation of the community and they should not act as the branch offices of the central and state governments to make KPs guinea pigs, he added. |
