Jammu, June 13 : Dogra Law College, Bari Brahmana, Jammu organized "Scholarship Award Ceremony" in the college Auditorium in which scholarship cheques amounting to Rs. 3.50 lacs were distributed among 70 meritorious students of different semesters of B.A LL.B Five Year Course and LL.B Three Year Professional Course.
Cheques were distributed by the Chief Guest of the occasion Pawan Kotwal (IAS), Divisional Commissioner, Jammu Province. In addition, mementos were also presented by the Chief Guest to the students of different semesters to honour them for securing top positions in the University Examinations. Welcome address was delivered by Gurmeet Kour, Principal of Dogra Law College in which she also highlighted the distinguishing features of the college and its academic achievements since the year of its establishment in the year 2002.
The Chief Guest, while speaking on the occasion, congratulated the meritorious students and University toppers for their academic brilliance in the field of legal education. He also praised the Management of Dogra Law College for organizing such type of ceremony to encourage and honour the meritorious students. Sheetal Nanda (IAS), Deputy Commissioner, Samba was the Guest of Honour on this occasion who also lauded the efforts of the students in their academic pursuits. |
