First phase of teachers training programme concludes: DIET

Jammu, June 13: The 1st phase of six days teachers training programme under CSS-2015 conducted by District Institute of Education and Trainings Jammu (DIET) concluded at Bakshi Nagar and Akhnoor. According to press release, a total of 142 teachers of District Jammu attended the orientation programme in English, Maths, Science and Social Science.The training was conducted at GHSS satwari,GHSS(B) Bakshi Nagar and GHSS Akhnoor.
Darshna Kudyar HOD, Veena Kerni HOD and S. Fateh Singh HOD acted as Course Coordinators. The main objective of the six days training programme was to equip the elementary teachers with student centric teaching methods. Novel and innovative teaching techniques were discussed with the participants to make class room teaching more effective. Principal DIET Jammu Mohinder Singh personally monitored the training venues along with HOD IFIC Wing Sandhra Malhotra. The 2nd phase of orientation Training programme will commence from 15th of June 2015. In this phase teachers will be trained in English ,Hindi, Maths and Science.
