Jammu, June 13: Rotary Club of Jammu city in collaboration with Meyer Organics Pvt. Ltd. today conducted a Free Bone Density Test here at JK Physiotherapy and rehabilitation clinic , Gandhi Nagar.
According to press release, more than 100 patients were benefited of this test. Rtn. Dr. Gaurav Vaid briefed the masses about bone health, importance of Calcium and Vitamin D3 in one's body. He told that today's life style, certain hormonal changes and other medical conditions have a great impact upon the health of bones. Osteoporosis has become one of the major medical ailments. Women folk are more affected in our region. Earlier also such camps were conducted by the organization and research methodology has been adapted.
President of the club Rtn. Gurdev Singh Sodhi assured that many more medical camps in continuation to BMD and other tests will be organized by the Rotary club of Jammu city in the near future. He said healthy mind lives in healthy body. The health of the public in general will be our motto.
