DAHWA delegation calls on DC 6/13/2015 11:59:16 PM Early Times Report Udhampur, June 13: A delegation of Destitute And Handicapped Welfare Association (DAHWA) called on Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur, Dr. Shahid Iqbal, and discussed with him various issues regarding welfare and development of people especially farmers. Led by DAHWA Chairperson, the delegation felicitated the DC and expressed hope that his proficient administrative aptitude and effectiveness would greatly help in mitigating the sufferings of the people besides accelerating the development momentum in the district. The deputation apprised the DC of various issues including adequate and early relief to flood and rain hit victims as they have been rendered helpless to feed even their own families due to this nature's tragedy.
