JKAACL honours poets, writers of erstwhile Doda 6/14/2015 12:06:44 AM Early Times Report Doda, June 13: In order to honour the poets, writers of Erstwhile Doda district, Jammu & Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture & Languages (JKAACL) has started a series of programs titled-'Ek Shakhisyat Se Mulaqaat'. In this connection, a programme was organized at Doda in which a renowned poet and writer of Erstwhile Doda district Saidullah Shaad Faridabadi was honored by the academy. People from all walks of life participated in the programme, as per the release. The Programme was presided over by Prof. Zahir Abass Hashmi, Principal Government Degree College Doda and renowned writer Farid Ahmed Faridi was also present in the presidium. Speaking on the occasion professor Zahir Abass Hashnmi lauded the efforts of J&K culture academy sub office Doda for organizing such programme from time to time. He termed the posts writer and artist as the treasure of any society. He stressed open the academy for organize more programmes of this nature.
