Community Mobilization programme organized in Kishtwar 6/14/2015 11:56:53 PM KISHTWAR, June 14 : To strengthen the functioning of Village Level Education Committees and to apprise them about their role and responsibilities, a Zonal Level Community Mobilization programme was today organized collectively by Zonal Education Officer Kishtwar and Nagseeni at Government Higher Secondary School Kishtwar under Sarva Shiksha Abhyan (SSA). Chief Education Officer Kishtwar Vinod Kumar Soni, Zonal Education Officer Kishtwar Subash Sharma, Zonal Education Officer Nagseeni Smt. Shaista Parveen Sarwal, Village Level Education Committee members of Kishtwar and Nagseeni Zone, sarpanches functionaries of Education Department and prominent citizens of the area attended the programme. Chief Education Officer Kishtwar Vinod Kumar Soni while speaking on the occasion said that this is an attempt to transform the efforts on ground that were made by the VLEC's, PRI's and Education Department in the District for the development of educational setup in the region. During the programme the Village Level Education Committee members were apprised about their role and responsibilities in strengthening the Education standards of Schools in their respective areas, besides were also asked to monitor the working of the schools and highlight the deficiencies so that necessary facilities are made available in the schools .
