Kerosene Depot owner booked for black marketing in Doda 6/14/2015 11:57:00 PM Early Times Report DODA, June 14 : Police today booked one person for his alleged involvement in the black marketing of kerosene oil in Jathi Assar area. Investigations have been initiated against the accused person who was arrested along with 1600 litres of kerosene oil while the depot owner Noor Mohammad is absconding. Acting on specific information police station Assar conducted a raid near highway road Jathi at Assar and recovered 1600 litres of kerosene oil that was being sold illegally by one Noor Moham-mad Bhatt R/O Jathi Assar. Sources said that black marketing of kerosene oil by the depot owners in connivance with the officials of the CAPD consumer affairs and public distribution Department and cooperative society has added to the woes of the people in the hilly and inaccessible areas of Doda District. People have alleged that majority of the owners of kerosene oil depots open their shops in mid night hours to sell the oil illegally to matadors, trucks, tippers, sumos and other vehicles in connivance with the officials of the CAPD. The complaints by the ration card holders against the depot owners that they are not given the quota from his ration card have fallen on deaf ears.
