Muslim Welfare Society delegation calls on DC Kishtwar | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, June 14 : A delegation of Muslim Welfare Society Kishtwar led by its President Ayaz Ahmed Dev today called on DC Kishtwar and apprised him about the problems being faced by the people during holy month of Ramzan. The members of delegation informed DC Kishtwar that the holy month of Ramazan is likely to begin from June 19, 2015 and urged upon the administration to make arrangements in terms of free flow of supply of essential commodities, cooking gas, electricity, drinking water, beside to take an immediate steps for hassle free water and electricity supply during Iftari (Breaking of fast) and Sehri (Pre dawn meal). They said that during holy month of Ramazan, the traders increase the price of essential commodities and demanded for arranging the meeting of all stake holders with vendors and shopkeepers including concerned officer for making arrangements of Ramazan. They also laid stress on availability of LPG, Kerosene, Ration at government run depots and also urged upon the administration to conduct regular market checking to curb the menace of black marketing of essential commodities and to check the quality of the food items sold to the people. DC Kishtwar Mohammad Javed Malik after giving patient hearing to the delegation members assured them that all the issues and demands raised by them will be looked into on top priority. |
