Congress workers stage protest against Forest Minister 6/15/2015 12:04:46 AM Early Times Report Jammu, June 14: Congress workers today staged protest demonstration against Forest Minister Bali Baghat for his drive to vacate encroached forest land alleged that the move is to divide people on communal lines. A large number of people particularly from Gujjar and Bakerwal Community led by Shahnawaz Choudhary, General Secretary PCC J&K at Press Colony Srinagar held protest demonstration and tried to burn the effigy of Bali Bhagat, Forest Minister J&K Government. Congress workers raised strong slogans against the forest minister and BJP Government. They showed strong resentment over forest minister move to evacuate the innocent Gujjar and Bakerwals which are residing there for last 50 years since 1947 in Rajouri and Poonch. Shahnawaz Choudhary, while addressing the gathering lambasted Bali Baghat for creating communal tension and in a deep conspiracy to evacuate the innocent Gujjar and Bakerwal from their home where they are for last 60 years. He further said that Bali Baghat is himself involved in deep rooted corruption and his own home is also built on state land and forest land. Bali Baghat is pursuing the agenda of RSS. He further asked Bali Baghat that if Baghat really want Anti-enroachment drive of forest land, he must firstly evacuate which he himself encroached, 3 kanal Kasra no. 1184 at Bhawani Nagar in Jammu.
