Jammu, June 14: Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) Freedom Fighters Association, held an impressing function to remember Brig. Rajendra Singh on his Birth Anniversary at Bal Niketan Ved Mandir, Ambphalla, Jammu.
The function was organized by Ved Gandotra-the President of the Association and Pummy Baba was the Chief Guest.
The members and the different speakers threw light on the life history of the Brigadier, who with the help of a few soldiers, stopped the raiders from Pakistan to enter in the territory of J&K State and saved the life of many citizens of the state, especially the public of the Kashmir Valley.
The speakers asked the separatists of valley and the people of the Kashmir Valley to stop speaking against the security forces and work with and help the army to liquidate all the terrorist forces in the valley to pave way for bringing peace in the valley.
The people of Kashmir should understood, they added, that the Indian Army and the Indian security forces were the guarantee for their peaceful and honorable living in the Kashmir, otherwise, Pakistan with the help of lSI and its terrorist group would have made hell of the heaven (Kashmir).
The members also remembered Netaji Subash Chander Bose, Chander Shekhar Azad, S. Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru, Sukhdev, Ashfaq Ullah Khan. |
