NSF condemns BJP for surrendering interests of Jammu 6/15/2015 12:18:10 AM Early Times Report Jammu, June 14: National Secular Forum (NSF) today protested against BJP-PDP coalition government over the shifting of AIIMS to Kashmir. The protest was led by its president Sukhdev Singh. Addressing the gathering here today, Sukhdev Singh flayed at the Mufti led government for ignoring the interests of Jammu region and playing with the emotions of the people. "People will not tolerate discrimination at any cost and will oppose tooth and nail the discriminatory policies", he said. He also said BJP had been raising issue of discrimination at all the forums but ever since it joined the government as coalition partner, its leaders have themselves adopted a silent posture. Singh condemned the statement of the Chief Minister of establishing AIIMS in Kashmir and not in Jammu, besides terming the artificial lake project as non-feasible. He further said, "Centre announced establishment of AIIMS in Jammu but the Kashmiri leadership manipulated the whole things and cleverly managed to say that AIIMS will be established at Kashmir but the BJP ministers and leaders maintained absolute silence over the issue while the other regional parties have been fighting the issue on roads."
