Jammu, June 14: Chief organiser of Congress Seva Dal Surinder Singh Manhas alleged that the state government failed to provide basic facilities to the people of hilly and far flung areas expcailly Doda and Ramban districts' villages. A tour was conducted of hilly far flung remote areas of the Doda and Ramban District villages Bari, Mundhar, Bhouari, Desh Bhatta, Zaine, Kastiagrh, Chuchatra, Chaliye, Bibrota, Dyargali, Shamti and Rajgarh, interacted with Seva Dal volunteers and local peoples of the areas took stock of the grievances being faced by the people and listened their problems. He said public of the areas is deprived of basic facilities like Ration, Electricity, Water, Worst link road conditions, unemployement non-release wages and pension of C.P workers,Widows, Handicaped Persons and senior citizens because of the totally failure of Present BJP Govt. MLAs and their double standard polices at a ground. He said PDP-BJP aims only for power and dilution of autonomy of J&K State but it will never success in his mission. The Congress Seva Dal leader demanded compensation those who have suffered damage of houses, land, crops and cattle due to recent rains storms etc. He also asserted that KCC loan of the affected formers must be waived off. He said congress has brought Tehsil status to Kastigarh and Rajgarh giving long deserving reservation to Paharis independently which is testimony to the fact that congress is committed to uplift the weaker section of the areas. |
