Jammu, July 11 : A three days' Principals Conference organized by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), Jammu concluded today. Principals, Grade-II and officiating Principals of fifty six Vidyalayas of KVS, Jammu Region spread over the state of J&K, oarts of H.P. and Punjab participated in this conference. AVLJ Rao, Deputy Commissioner, KVS, Jammu was the Chief Guest on this occasion. Assistant Commissioners- A S Gill and D R Meena graced the event with their presence in the conference. The aim of organizing the conference was to update the technology of teaching and learning. Various aspects of academic, administrative and account matters were discussed elaborately during the conference. Various aspects of academics importance like conduct of curriculum according to the prescribed guidelines, its assessment and tools of assessment, Results, training of teachers, implementation of different programmes and schemes like CMP, EQUIP, e-Classroom, e-CTLT, CCE, sports activities, SOP, different policies, infrastructure needs and other facilities and so on. During the sessions report on result analysis was presented, in which the outcomes were analyzed in detail. The Principals of the Vidyalayas those gave 100% results in Board Classes and in different Subjects showing high quality of result (P.I.- Performance Index) were rewarded during this session. Awards were also distributed through the Principals for the students showing excellence in academics performance as well as in the field of games and sports. Best over all trophies were also awarded to the Principals in academics as well as sports.
