GDC Budhal organizes symposium 7/11/2015 11:33:18 PM Early Times Report Jammu, July 11 : Government Degree College Budhal today organized a symposium on the topic "Importance of the Holy Month of Ramzan" in college premises. According to press release, Principal of the college Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Raina presided over the function. Imam Central Jama Masjid Budhal Moulana Shabbir Ahmed was Chief guest on the occasion who also delivered detailed lecture on the topic. Eight students participated in the symposium. Farooq Ahmed secured first position in the symposium where as 2nd and 3rd positions were bagged by Gulfam Akhter and Tasvir Akhter respectively. Earlier the programme started with recitation of the few verses of the Holy Quran by Liaqat Ali followed welcome address by Dr. Mohd Sajar. Prof. Priksha Raina, PTI Mudasir Ahmed Dar and Prof. Ramneek Kour acted as jury members. In his presidential address Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Raina congratulated the participants and winners of the symposium and also appreciated the staff and students for making the function successful.
