Rajouri, July 11 : Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) Sub Office Rajouri organised a multi lingual Naatia Mushaira to mark holy month of Ramazan at Himalayan Centre for peace and objective studies Himalayan Campus W- 9 Rajouri. The Naatia session was presided over by Nazir Hussain Queshi where as M N Qureshi was the chief guest on this occasion. At the onset of occasion, Dr Alamdar Administrative Cultural Officer presented welcome address and gave a brief about the ongoing activities besides the scheduled future activities of Sub Office Rajouri. He said Naat not only makes a great contribution in our literature but also in our religious ethos. Meantime the poets who recited Naats during the session were Rafiq Soz, Khursheed Bismil, Dr.Shams Kamal Anjum, Prof M K Waqar, Prof Iqbal Raina, Rubina Mir, Dr Sabar Mirza, Fida Rajourvi, Qayoom Naik, Bashir Khaki, Parvez Malik, Rashid Qammar, Iqbal Manjakoti, Abdul Rehmati, Nisar Rahi, Khurshid Mir Janam and others In his address the chief guest appreciated the steps and working of young dynamic cultural officer Rajouri- Poonch. At the end patron of Himalayan Education Mission Rajouri Farooq Muzter presented vote of thanks |
