| Jammu, July 11: Three people were arrested along with fake currency worth Rs three lakh at general bus stand here. "Acting on tip off, police party, during midnight, intercepted three persons moving suspiciously at bus stand," a senior police official here said. He said that during frisking, Rs three lakh fake Indian currency notes in the denomination of Rs 1,000 and Rs 500 were recovered from their possession. All the three persons identified as Abdul Gani, 48, resident of Gandoh, district Doda, Abdul Rashid, 50, resident Brijbehra, Anantnag and Feroz Ahmed, 31, resident of Sopre, Baramulla have been arrested. A case been registered and investigations started, police added. |
