UDHAMPUR, July 11:Shri Adi Shakti Sewak Sanstha, Udhampur is organizing Annual Aakhan Jyoti cum Procession of Pingla Mata Ji on July 15, 2015. According to press release, it was disclosed in a meeting convened under the chairmanship of President Adi Shakti Sewak Sanstha Pingla Mata Udhampur, Ashok Kumar Gupta at Udhampur. The Sanstha is organizing 9th Pingla Mata Akhand Jyoti Yatra in which a Shobha Yatra of Pingla Mata is being taken out from Pandav Mandir which after passing through various locations of the town which include Hospital road, Sallan Talab, Chabutra Bazaar, Main Bazaar, Gool Market, Mukerji Bazaar, Ramnagar Chowk Salathia Chowk culminated at the starting point. The Akhand Jyoti would remain at Pandav Mandir and would be carried to Pingla Mata Cave Shrine on next morning July 16, 2015in a procession of devotees. The President, Gupta said that sanstha is organizing free bus services like every year from Udhampur to the village Kawua (pilgrimage point) for the pilgrimage. He called upon the devotees to book their free bus tickets in advance for the better management of the yatra. He said that free langar facility would also be provided by the Sanstha at the shrine cave and enroute. A large number of devotees from and out the state would be expected to participate in the Annual Pilgrimage of Pingla Mata for seeking blessing of the Goddess, the President added. Elaborate arrangements of electricity, drinking water and security are being made by the district administration during the yatra. Among other, Baba Puran Nath Ji, Baba Sunder Giri ji, Manik Shah, Jassveer Singh, Madan Lal, Makhan Singh and Members of the Santha participated in the meeting.
