Some mischief always hell bent to discourage Amarnath yatra: VHP | | | Early Times Report Jammu, July 11: Asserting that the Administration & Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) are making high claims for smooth conduct of the yatra but the ground realities speak otherwise, the state Vishav Hindu Parishad (VHP) has expressed its concern regarding the reports coming from the Yatri two base camps at Baltal and Nunban in Kashmir regarding some odd experiences and described that some elements are always adamant to discourage annual Amarnath yatra. Addressing the media person here today, State VHP Patron Dr Ramakant Dubey expressed highest concern regarding the yesterday reports coming from the two Yatri base camps in Kashmir and also enroute thereon regarding some mischief by some vested elements who are always adamant to discourage this holy yatra. "Every time some type of trouble is created whereby the fear psychosis is created among yatries and 'community kitchen' people who are always serving and facilitating for the smooth conduct of this yatra, feel insecure, he said. "Administration and Shrine Board are making high claims for smooth conduct of the yatra but the ground realities speak otherwise, Dr Dubey said adding, "in case, these Langerwalas go on reported strike and stop the valuable services only God knows what will happen to lakhs of pilgrims." "Even the pathetic condition of yatries who queue up for current registration at Jammu Haat etc can also be an indicator of this alleged discouraging," he said Dr Dubey exhorted the administration/Shrine Board to immediately get the trouble sorted out so that stopped facilities by "Langer-walas" are resorted. "Only dedicated employees of Shrine Board and Administration be deployed so that yatries do not think otherwise, said Dr Dubey, and added that Governor who is the Chairman of this yatra should take a notice of this, every type of short-coming and also peep deep in every aspect. Dr Sham Lal Gupta General Secretary, Rakesh Sharma Bajrang Dal Prant Seh Sayojak, Sukh Ram Sharma, Bal Krishan Gupta were also present in the press conference. |
