7/15/2015 12:00:04 AM

Early Times Report

Jammu, July 14: Tulsi Dass Langeh, Patron of 'Ekta Mehantkash Trade Manch' expressed serious concern over the conspiracy being played by the Jammu University authorities by issuing a notification, where in it has been stated that the students seeking admission in Department of Buddhist Studies must have diploma in Paali language, otherwise they would not be considered for admission in Buddhist studies. According to press release, Langeh said that Paali language was neither being taught in the educational institutions nor any institution of Palli language has been established so far from where students could learn the Palli language. Hence in the light of the facts quoted above Lange urged Governor, NN Vohra, the Chancellor of Jammu University for immediate intervention by issuing of direction to the authorities of JU for revocation of Notification and advising the University authorities for making admission as per previous criteria in Vogue, so that students could apply for the Buddhist studies.
