Jammu, July 14: M. Sulaiman Salaria, IGP Railways J&K alongwith Suram Singh, SP Railways, Jammu, visited GRP jurisdiction from PP GRP Bari Brahmna to Kathua for security review, in view of present security scenario and ongoing Shri Amar Nath Ji Yatra-2015. During the visit, a security review meeting was also held at Railway Station Gagwal with SDPOs and jurisdictional officers, in which security related important instructions and guidelines were issued to the participants. They were instructed to deal politely with public especially with the Shri Amar Nath Ji yatries, provide them necessary assistance and be firm with regard to their duties. Moreover, all the participants were reiterated that in view of previous infiltrations on the International Border, acts of sabotage and cross border terrorism at Railway tracks, Railway Stations and running trains cannot be ruled out. Second meeting was held at Railway Station Kathua with the jurisdictional officers. |
