Jammu, July 14: Trikuta Nagar police today claimed to have arrested five thieves hailing from BIhar besides recovering Rs 51000 from their possession which they have stolen from a Cardboard industrial unit in Chadoora in Kashmir on the other day. Police have identified the arrested as Dileep Kumar, Hari Nath, Dharam Nath, Arun Kumar, Guddu Kumar all residents of Bihar Police said, "On receiving Information from SDPO Chrar-e-Shareef about a theft of Rs 75000/- in a factory named M/S Cardboard Industry at Chadoora- Budgam district of Kashmir for which a case stands registered under FIR no 131/15 under sections 379 and 420 of RPC at Chadoora Police station." "After messages flash and other inputs, the Police alerted it sources," police said while adding, "acting on information that the thieves are present in the area under Trikuta Nagar Police Station, a team led by SHO Trikuta Nagar, Probationer DySP Mansha Beig under the supervision of SDPO East Rafiq Manhas swung into action and nabbed the culprits. "Apart from their arrest, police have recovered Rs 51000/- on their disclosures during the sustained interrogation, police said. |
