ABVP demonstrates against extension of B.Ed/M.Ed tenure 7/15/2015 12:09:01 AM Early Times Report Udhampur, July 14: continuing its struggle for the cause of students, the ABVP(Akhil Baratya Vidarthi Parishat) today protested against alleged discriminatory nodal authorities order of regarding extension of academic duration of B.Ed Courses in Jammu region. Led by Arjun Khajuhria city president of ABVP Udhampur, the activists raised slogans against the university authorities and the state government for discriminating Jammu against Kashmir. Supporting the cause of the students, ABVP leader said the extension of tenure of B.Ed/M.Ed courses is another example of discrimination with Jammu. He said the B.Ed/M.Ed in Jammu region has been extended upto for two years while the same course is only for one year in valley which not only will adversely affect the career of students and the teaching faculty as well as majority will prefer to pursue their studies in Kashmir.
