Truck driver among two held with 35 kg 'Bhukki 7/15/2015 12:09:03 AM Early Times Report Jammu, July 14: Police today claimed to have arrested a truck driver and helper besides effecting recovery of approximately 35 kilogram of Bhukki (poppy straw) from their possession. Police have identified the accused namely as Karpal Singh (Driver) of Gundha Kalakote of Rajouri district and Akbar Khan of Gundha Kalakote presently at Keran Thather in city outskirts. "On specific information, a police party led by PSI Vikram Manhas in-charge Police Post Chinore under the supervision of SHO Domana, SDPO Domana and Officiating SSP Jammu Rajeev Pandey raised a naka at Keran." "The police party intercepted a truck (JK02AD-3763) and recovered 35 kg poppy straw during thorough search of truck and arrested duo on the spot, police said.
