Kishtwar, July 14: As the Eid enthusiasm has gripped the world across, the District Police Kishtwar under the J&K Police Community Policing initiatives to strengthen police public relations and organized an Iftar Party at TRC Kishtwar.
People from various political, religious, social organizations, besides trade and transport Unions, NGO's and District Officers participated in this well attended Iftar occasion.
Prominent among those who attended the Iftar party were G.M.Saroori-MLA Inderwal, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Mohammad Javed Khan, Jalal-ul-Din Qazi Ex-MLA, Surinder Kumar Sen President Sanatan Dhram Sabha Kishtwar, Tanveer Ahmed Kichloo District President NC, Umar Malik, Nasir Sheikh, Chuni Lal Shan, Syed Ahmed Shah, Asgar Ali Sheikh, Shabir Ahmed Kamal, Imtiyaz Ahmed Zager, Anil Parihar, President Bar Association Imtiyaz Ahmed Hamal, Imams of local Mosque and Retired Police Personnel.
During the course of proceedings, an interaction on various issues was also held on the sidelines of function and the special arrangements have been made for the prayers for particular community.
All the participants appreciated the role of District Police especially in organizing such an occasion and assured full co-operation for the forthcoming festival in the District. |
