Vansh Mahajan gets 9th rank In Commonwealth fencing C'ship | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 14 : Young talented fencer and member of Indian team got 9th rank in the Junior Cadet Commonwealth Fencing Championship at South Africa. The budding star Vansh Mahajan from J&K State has achieved such a milestone at the International level in an individual event. Vansh has given his best and shown extraordinary skills in his career in the Commonwealth Championship and got 9th rank in the Commonwealth Championship held at Cape Town, South Africa. Ace Fencer, Vansh Mahajan 9th ranked is now eligible to participate in Asian Championship as well as World Championships in near future. "It is overwhelming feeling that everyone including Senior, Junior Fencers of the State and well wishers have sent me congratulatory messages and the first greeting I have received was from my coach Shotu Lal with remarks - "You have been a terrific role model for Youngsters and make us proud ".from my icon Ujawal Gupta with the remarks- " This is just the beginning -work hard and follow your dreams" and then number of congratulatory messages from my parents, sister friends, and relatives", said Vansh. Vansh, being a member of Indian team is preparing himself for team event which is scheduled to be held on 17th July 2015 under the guidance of Coach Shotu lal who is accompanying the team. National Medalist Fencer, Vansh is studying in Civil Engineering in Govt. Polytechnic Jammu and all in all, it has been a very exciting year 2015 for him but the greatest honour is to represent country. The National Medalist and Ace Fencer Vansh Mahajan Student of civil Engineering of Govt. Polytechnic Jammu attributes his success and performance to his Coach Shotu Lal who is accompanying the team and his icons Ujawal Gutpa and Rashid Choudhary for achieving his goals. |
